A Conversation with Intersectional Environmentalist Leah Thomas on Monday, April 24th @12:30pm PT

WSP is incredibly excited to invite activist and author Leah Thomas to a student-led conversation online on Monday, April 24th at 12:30pm PT.

Thomas is the author of The Intersectional Environmentalist: How to Dismantle Systems of Oppression to Protect People + Planet. The book serves as an introduction to the intersection between environmentalism, racism, and privilege, and as an acknowledgment of the fundamental truth that we cannot save the planet without protecting all of its people. She also founded the non-profit Intersectional Environmentalist as an inclusive and accessible platform for environmental justice and resource for environmental education. Thomas has been named to many notable lists—including TIME100 NEXT, INSIDER’s Climate Action 30, Marie Claire’s Creators to Watch, EBONY Power 100, and InStyle’s The Badass 50.
